ભારતે કોમનવેલ્થ ગેમ્સમાં ભાગ લેવા માટે 217 ખેલાડીઓ મોકલ્યા
ઓસ્ટ્રેલિયાના ગોલ્ડ કોસ્ટમાં કોમનવેલ્થ ગેમ્સની ઓપનિંગ સેરેમની શરૂ થઈ ગઈ છે. આ વખતે હેલો અર્થની થીમ રાખવામાં આવી હતી. ઈંગ્લેન્ડના પ્રિન્સ ચાર્લ્સ અને કેમિલા પાર્કરે 21માં કોમનવેલ્થ ગેમ્સનું ઈનોગ્રેશન કર્યું હતું. ઓપનિંગ સેરેમનીમાં ઓસ્ટ્રેલિયન સંસ્કૃતીની ઝલક જોવા મળી હતી.
